Homemade Sage Butter

Gluten-Free | Sugar-Free | Grain-Free

Sage butter is our all time favorite breadspread and a must in all of our retreat and events. It always go empty very quickly, especially when serve it with one of our homemade breads 😉

If you don’t like sage, you can use any herb of your choice to add to your butter such as coriander, parsley, basil, rucola, dill etc.


  • 1 package of butter
  • 1 cup of fresh sage leaves
  • 1/4 cup dried sage
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • pinch of salt


  1. Keep the butter at room temperature or heat it up in a hot water bath, so it is soft enough to be used.
  2. Cut the sage finely
  3. Press the garlic
  4. Mix all the ingredients together in one bowl!
  5. Fill the mix in a serving bowl. Eat right away or store it in the fridge.
